Kind Lady
There was a kind lady
who gave me a song.
When I was a baby
and life had begun.
Who with her own wisdom,
and with her true love,
gave me the freedom
to fly like a dove.
She told me; "Go live
the life you must choose,
and if you have love, then give.
It will come back to you."
"And when you have done it
and doing is done.
Give it to someone
who's life has begun."

Knowing
Do not think
of loss or leaving.
Do not think
tomorrow goes.
Today holds fast
and is forgiving
yeasteday
and all it's woes
Do not think
tomorrow goes.
Tomorrow comes
and all it knows.

An astute writer once advised all readers: "If you are reading and come upon a word which you do not know the meaning of, immediately, go to the dictionary and find out. Else you might well miss the single most important message in the book!"
I believe this advice could indeed apply to every aspect of our lives.
